Jay Fedigan - Producer/DirectorAfter receiving a BFA in film and photography from Emerson College, Jay founded Powerglide Media in 1980. As a principal partner with Powerglide he was part of the production team on hundreds of productions and events for corporate clients throughout the northeast. In 1998 he left Powerglide to dedicate more time to producing and directing documentary projects. Later that year he began production of The Angry Heart, a documentary about the impact of racism on heart disease among African Americans. The Angry Heart was completed in 2001 and continues to be well received by audiences and is shown at events all over the country. Jay speaks regularly about The Angry Heart and health disparities at hospitals, universities, churches and many different social forums, and has been interviewed about his work on minority health disparities on radio and television. Sue Safton - Associate Producer/Assistant DirectorSince 1985, Sue has been a vital part of teams at virtually every production house in the Boston area. Starting as an audio editor, and gradually moving over to the visual side, she worked her way up through the freelance ranks to the position of line producer. In 1996 she joined Powerglide Media Inc. as an associate producer/assistant director. At Powerglide her ability to multitask and remain focused on end goals have ensured the success of numerous corporate, fundraising, and educational media projects including: Catholic Medical Centers "A Gift of Care" Video fundraiser; EMC "Energize your Enterprise" Interactive multimedia trade show installation; Bose Corporation "Musically Speaking" an educational multi-image program for high school; Hamilton College "To the Top of the Hill" multi-image presentation for fundraising dinner; Hayden Planetarium "A Planet Called Home" educational installation on planetary pollution. In 1998 Sue returned to the freelance market with the intention to pursue her interest in video documentary projects. Recently, she has been focusing most of her attention on her radio program at WMBR-FM, and developing her web design business.

Steve Dahlgren - VideographerMr. Dahlgren's specialty is bringing vision to visual images. Over the years, he has developed a unique ability to connect with and express the emotional quality of his subjects while adhering to the highest level of production standards. The results are video and photo images that are graphic, beautiful and moving. After a comprehensive education in film and still media, Mr. Dahlgren learned the tools of his trade as a corporate photographer. Since 1985, he has worked as a freelance photographer and videographer, producing award winning visuals for print, multi-image and video including a series of highly successful broadcast commercial spots for a major fashion retailer. At Dahlgren Creative he is currently shooting and editing video projects for clients such as EMC. Ken Lacouture - Sound EngineerKen Lacouture has been a member of the multimedia landscape for nearly fifteen years. Starting at the New England School of Photography, where he graduated with honors in the slide media program, he did stints as photographer, slide programmer, production manager and theater lighting director, as well as producing numerous industrial, corporate and non-profit slide shows and videos. He is a founding member of "Head and Leg", a group who specialize in spoken word and audio collage composition. "Head and Leg" has been featured on NPR's "All Things Considered" and, in 1995 released a full length CD "In Your Dreams". Mr. Lacouture serves as a freelance engineer for music, film, and video projects and provides narration and voice-over talent. Ken recently completed a project for the National Film Preservation Foundation as recording engineer for over eight hours of music to accompany historically significant silent films selected from eighteen different American film archives. Currently, Ken is consulting for Bose Corporation on the design and installation of over one hundred retail theaters. |
